I've advertised occasionally and written advertorials for Green Living Magazine, but this was a special treat! My mission is to share ways that a GREEN designee can help a homeowner in their environment, lowering energy bills, create better indoor environments, and lower their carbon footprints.
The audience of the magazine is a variety of individuals from all walks of life. Some are seeking healthy living options while others want to know the latest and greatest in technology and eco-fashion.
I appreciate you and am honored to receive this award! During the last 18 years, I've performed a lot of advocacy work, including: adding 65 green features to the Arizona Regional MLS; hosting educational sessions for real estate agents and trades in the industry; fund raised and hosted two-day educational courses for appraisers; volunteered at events; locally and at trade events and nationally for the National Association of REALTORS®. It's been my honor to be invited and to speak at MANY events to raise the bar for high performance homes.
There are about 100 REALTOR members who have the GREEN designation in Arizona and nationally there are less than 1/2 of 1% = about 7800 nationally!
